Members
Through to 31st December 2028 ResponsibleGlass will be seeking Sponsors and Founding Members.
- Sponsors: businesses which join ResponsibleGlass and commit start up funding in addition to Gold Founding Member level support
- Founding Members – Gold: businesses which join ResponsibleGlass and commit £50k funding/year for at least 3-yrs
- Founding Members – Silver: businesses which join ResponsibleGlass and commit >=£15k funding/year for at least 3-yrs
- Founding Members – Civil Society+: other organisations which join ResponsibleGlass before December 31st 2028
Supporters
In addition to Founding Members, through to 31st December 2028 ResponsibleGlass will be seeking Supporters. Supporters may be glass value chain or other businesses, business associations, or other glass sector stakeholders, who wish to show their support for the establishment of ResponsibleGlass but who do not wish to become Members at this time.
From 1st January 2029 new business members must be ResponsibleGlass certificate holders, who will pay a license fee.

1 A business joining in 2026 would pay the Founding Member fee from 2026 – 2028. A business joining in 2027 would pay from 2027 – 2029. A business joining in 2028 would pay from 2028 – 2030.
2 License fees will be introduced as soon as the ResponsibleGlass programme becomes operational, expected to be achieved by 2029, and will be payable by certificate holders. Fees will be waived for Gold Founding Members for the 1st three years after their introduction, i.e. until the end of 2031.
Once the programme becomes fully operational it will be financed through license fees and philanthropic funding, and founding membership fees will be discontinued at the end of the 3-yr commitment.
