ResponsibleGlass is a global sector specific, multi-stakeholder, sustainability standards programme for glass.

We are creating a new international multi-stakeholder solution to the glass industry’s challenges…

ResponsibleGlass, dedicated to establishing and promoting a global standard for responsible glass production and sourcing. It will bring together the entire glass value chain, from raw material suppliers to manufacturers, glass users, and recyclers, alongside civil society organisations.  

We are looking for founding members and supporters from the entire glass supply chain, including end users (like those in container glass, flat glass, and automotive), manufacturers, and raw material suppliers, including recyclers, alongside civil society organisations.

Work to design the ResponsibleGlass international standard is starting in January 2026, and new founders and supporters are welcome join throughout the development process.
